About  Howard Kingsnorth
As far as I’m concerned, being a professional photographer is the best job in the world. Still.

In my time, I’ve worked for some of the industry’s most successful advertising agencies with some of the most talented creative people in the business, and on some of the best-known accounts there are.

Who wouldn’t have loved doing that? And I’m loving it today too.

The challenges are very different, the times a lot tougher but the opportunity to produce memorable images for clients who need quality and imagination in equal measure remains. It’s what motivates me. It always has.

Ever since I got my first little Kodak camera aged 12. In those days the client was just me, but that little camera got me into the magic of photography and helped create in me a desire to take it up as a living.
Fast forward to art college in Manchester and then on to professional life in London as one of the pioneers of the Shoreditch creative community where I produced high-profile commissioned work for some of the most recognizable global brands.

Shooting still life, people, cars, landscapes, interiors and lifestyle. In the studio or on location. For press, posters, brochures, magazines and online. And latterly adding a movie reel to my stills portfolio, having produced and directed digital film for a number of clients. A lot of different jobs.

And every time, the best job in the world.
