Behind the Scenes of Photographer David E. Jackson's photo series "Vegas Girls".

 As you saw from the behind the scenes video above, a fair amount of post-production went into creating the final product. It’s the basis for my current body of work. And I’ll say this now.. It’s NOT that I wasn’t able to get it right in camera. Getting your shots technically solid in camera is utterly dire. Without having lit these scenes believably based on the environment, exposing properly and finding my composition… this series would have fell flat on it’s face. Photoshop is NOT about fixing mistakes, but rather bringing my vision to completion for a final purpose. “You can fix that in Photoshop, right?” Well, yes and no..( text via © DavidEJackson)
