Moshe Brakha:

Born in Israel, and reborn in Hollywood, Moshe Brakha has been captivating the photographic and television worlds with his cutting edge classic photography and film for over three decades.

What began as an album cover for Boz Scaggs, “Silk Degrees” and shoots for Rolling Stone Magazine, has become a trailblazing career in the fashion and advertising worlds. Moshe’s print and television work has long been celebrated and recognized, having created advertising campaigns for brands such as Air Walk, Skyy Vodka, Martini and Rossi, Camel Cigarettes, Adidas, Candies, Best Buy, Motorola and countless others.

 He has photographed celebrities ranging from Reese Witherspoon and Tom Hanks to Samuel L. Jackson, George Clooney, Charlize Theron, Alyssa Milano, Will Smith, Keanu Reeves, Christina Aguilera, and a host of other luminaries. His work has been featured prominently in Entertainment Weekly, Details, Newsweek, and Condé Nast Traveler. Moshe has also directed hundreds of television commercials all over the world, gaining his greatest notoriety with his black and white “Martini Man” saga for Martini and Rossi. In May 2009, Moshe’s work became the subject of the special presentation,” Occupation Dreamer,” the first exhibit at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.

Currently, Moshe, together with Eddie Brakha, is working on a new and original project comprised of over 50 beautiful images interlaced with dialogue of poignant social commentary and critique. These pieces are a dramatic visual departure from his past 35 years of commercial work and showcase the profound creative partnership between Brakha x 2.

Moshe Brakha is a director of Commercial Head Films in Los Angeles and Co-Creator of the “Silent Pictures” project.

Eddie Brakha:

Born and raised in Hollywood, the self-proclaimed creator of ‘Modern Con Classico’ (the blending of modern and classic styles), and the directing partner and son of renowned photographer/director Moshe Brakha, Eddie Brakha began his photographic and directing career in 2004.

Since then, he has written and directed national and international campaigns for some of the world’s most recognizable brands including, Martini, Motorola, Physicians Formula, Route 66, Bacardi, Candies, Bongo, Toblerone, Lucky Strike Bowling, Nationwide, AMPM, Frito Lays and more. He has art-directed photo shoots for multiple magazines including Stuff, Maxim, Newsweek, Conde Nast Traveler, Emmy and Statement Magazine and he has worked with top celebrities and personalities such as Andre 3000, Steve Jobs, Mary Louise Parker, Jimmy Kimmel, David Duchovny, Hillary Duff, and others.

Passionate about giving back, Eddie has written and directed PSA’s for various organizations and causes including, Bamko’s “Care to Ask” initiative against child sweat shop labor, New Mexico’s “DOT” campaign against drunk driving and under age drinking and Candies’ “Wheels” and “Crib” for the Candies Foundation Teen Pregnancy Awareness Program.

In 2009, Eddie expanded his repertoire adding a number of new ventures to his name. He was the co-artist for the “Culver…Is That You?” (2009) Culver City Public Arts project and was the Creative Director and co-photographer for a new Culver City development, “Culver Centrale,” which opened in December 2009.
Currently, Eddie, in collaboration with Moshe Brakha, is working on a new and original project comprised of over 50 beautiful images interlaced with dialogue of poignant social commentary and critique. These pieces are one of Eddie’s first forays into the fine art world and showcase the profound creative partnership between Brakha x 2.

Eddie Brakha is a graduate of the University of Southern California’s Film and Advertising program. He is a director for Commercial Head Films in Los Angeles and Co-Creator of the “Silent Pictures” project.
