The G-DRIVE ev ATC with Thunderbolt will be available in January. Manufacturer’s suggested retail pricing is $229.95 for 1TB. The G-DRIVE ev ATC with USB 3.0 will be available in February. Manufacturer’s suggested retail pricing is $179.95 for 1TB and $129.95 for 500GB.
For current G-DRIVE ev owners, a standalone all-terrain case (ATC) can be purchased separately and turns the original G-DRIVE ev, the G-DRIVE ev RaW or the G-DRIVE ev SSD into a rugged, all-terrain storage solution, with a watertight compartment, which floats when dropped in water. It can also withstand a one and a half meter drop, protecting files from the rigors of both adventurous travel and everyday life. The ev ATC with Thunderbolt (MSRP $129.95) and the ev ATC with USB 3.0 (MSRP $79.95) will be available in February.
