CLYDE BUTCHER: Passion & Power of Photography is a feature length biographical documentary film on Clyde Butcher, an award-winning large-format black and white landscape photographer who has brought the environment of Florida, as well as special environments from across the United States, to the minds and hearts of Americans through his photography.

Elam Stoltzfus, the producer and cinematographer for the project, has known Clyde since 1989 and has filmed him every year since they first met—in a sense, this is a documentary that is 25 years in the making. The film is targeted for a national public television release.

As a feature-length documentary film, they will use interviews of Clyde’s friends and family to tell a universal story of one man’s journey through love, loss, and life.
