This is the introduction to a new network promo show called "Hike and Shoot" with Frank Lee Ruggles, professional photographer.

A seasoned Paratrooper from the 82nd Airborne Division Frank Lee Ruggles is now an Artist, Author, and former Eminent Photographer for the National Park Service, a job position once occupied by his photographic hero Ansel Adams.

An exhibition of his private works of America's National Parks is currently showing in several locations across the US, accompanied by lectures about his experiences traveling to all 50 US States and showing images from his books"Beautiful America" and "Workbook". Each episode , Frank will take us to the places where the best shots are.

Each episode will feature a different US National Park, where Frank will lead us on hikes to the very best spots to capture the ultimate photographs as well as showing us the techniques he uses to photograph his iconic images. The show will feature photography how-to's for serious shooters, but instructions for beginner and casual photographers will also be included in each show. In each episode, Frank will show you how to "Get the Shot", and then , using his experience as a paratrooper, He'll show us just how far he's willing to go to get the ULTIMATE shot, generally with a great degree of difficulty.
