Wow! So why isn't this common knowledge? This is so ideal. I have never been able to figure out how to do this before now. Fantastic!!
simply awsome... thanks for the tip... will save a lot of time on "hanging around"... thanks for that.
well, this trick is already well known and makes common sense when you have some curiosity and you try to figure out why, when you insert a memery card, it shows as a media AND as a folder in the import menu.
this trick is MAC only, doesn't work on PC. it will seem like it is importing both but it will stop after the 1st card finishes importing. and the progress bar will be stuck half way. at least that is what happened to my PC running LR4.1
