Professional iPhoneographer Kevin Russ: The Experience Collector

From freight trains to tundra, Kevin Russ captures his nomadic exploration in utterly understated images taken almost exclusively on his iPhone.

While his work is well documented, we wanted to understand the process behind the lens and invited ourselves on one of his trips into the expansive Alaskan wild. What he showed us was truly awe-inspiring.



We returned home, resisted the urge to summarily resign for a life on the road and begrudgingly enjoyed the bittersweet process of cobbling the experience together.
