Hoey vs Wallace: Small Studio Challenge Using A Single Speedlight
Recently Mark Wallace challenged Gavin Hoey to photograph the same model with the same lighting gear, in the same location as he did.
Using just a single speedlight and a small softbox, Gavin set out to create a shot with plenty of contrast and drama. An old book and some powder were added as props and after a bit of experimentation with the light and a little tweak in Photoshop, the challenge was completed.
