Brett Wilhelm is a photographer, videographer and technology specialist working regularly for a variety of national clientele including ESPN's XGames.com, Sports Illustrated, the NCAA, and many more. Wilhelm specializes in action/adventure sports and environmental storytelling with occasional forays in to travel and food photography.

Wilhelm was voted the 2006 "Person of the Year" by Time Magazine :D

 Brett Wilhelm explains this video:

Produced a short video during the 2014 Burton US Open Snowboard Pipe Finals highlighting both my standard on-snow action sports photography setup, plus various tips and tricks to stay prepared for whatever snowy environments might throw at you.

In a decade of shooting winter action sports, much credit goes to the many friends that I've crossed paths with along the way, a great team at XGames.com as well as the fine folks at Nikon Professional Services!

Photographing Snowboard SuperPipe at 2014 X Games Aspen

A quick behind the scenes of photographing X Games, produced a short video documenting my position and photography equipment setup for Greg Bretz's 1st run at Snowboard SuperPipe Finals during 2014 X Games Aspen at Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen, CO. By almost happy accident, this run also produced one of my favorite images from the event.
