Behind the scenes of working with world renowned choreographer Boris Eifman

These are some images from my session with world renowned choreographer Boris Eifman (Борис Эйфман), which happened during his company's tour of "Requiem" back in February in Montreal.

The session took place in Salle Wilfrid Pelletier on Place Des Arts. I had about 30 minutes of shooting time, which turned out to be quite enough to capture portraits I had in mind for him. Set -up and light testing was fairly quick too and took about 1.5 hours.

Photographed on Leaf Credo 40, Mamiya DF+ body, Schneider 80mm for 3/4 shots and Mamiya 150mm f/2.8 for closeups. For background I used my self painted canvases.
