Hasselblads $8,199 X2D 100c is utterly Hasselblad: an incredibly well-built camera that takes stunning photos pretty damn slowly. It’s not a workhorse, it’s a luxury cruiser and has a digital medium format, 43.8 x 32.9mm back-side illuminated CMOS sensor that provides very high-quality, 16-bit color photos with 15 stops of dynamic range.

In the mirrorless camera megapixel race the X2D’s 100 of them is only beaten by Fujifilm’s GFX 100 and 100s’ 102MPs. But even with that large price tag Hasselblad left out some key features that might deter even long-time fans away from this device.
