Light Painting Photography at Abandoned Motel
Some of the results from our two forays out to an abandoned motel to do some light painting photography.
A few people asked how we achieved the effect in the photos, so I thought I would post some video of the photos as they were being made. Apologies for the mostly dark footage, obviously we can only do the photography at night which makes it harder to film.

Jahvid Best Photo Shoot For Pepsi advertising Photo By Monte Isom Detroit Lions
Photographer Monte Isom photographed Detroit Lions football sensation Jahvid Best for Pepsi advertising. The day after his NFL debut where he scored 2 touchdowns we photographed him at the Detroit Lions training facility. We did action photos and a studio setup. He could not have been nicer and was able to deliver everything the client and I needed.
We used Profoto 7a packs and a Mamiya RZ with a Phase One P30 digital back.
Art Director: Alex Fellows
Client: Pepsi

Take Ivy Book Preview
Described by The New York Times as, "a treasure of fashion insiders," Take Ivy was originally published in Japan in 1965, setting off an explosion of American-influenced "Ivy Style" fashion among students in the trendy Ginza shopping district of Tokyo. The product of four sartorial style enthusiasts, Take Ivy is a collection of candid photographs shot on the campuses of America's elite, Ivy League universities. The series focuses on men and their clothes, perfectly encapsulating the unique academic fashion of the era. Whether lounging in the quad, studying in the library, riding bikes, in class, or at the boathouse, the subjects of Take Ivy are impeccably and distinctively dressed in the finest American-made garments of the time.
Another nice post about Ivy League: Princeton 1966 yearbook
