Lighting is one of the key elements to creating cinematic images and is one of the biggest factors that separates amateur looking films from professional.



There are four main characteristics of light that Parker Walbeck wants to cover: direction, color, quantity, and quality. In this video he is going to be covering direction of lights and briefly talking about light color.
