What is a C-Stand? 

A C-Stand (or Century stand) is an industry-standard light stand used in the photo and video industry to hold up lights, scrims, flags and other items during a photo or video shoot. The advantage of a C-stand compared to other light stand is that they are generally quite sturdy and easy to use while having a low base. 

The articulated C-Stand ‘arm’ and ‘column’ combination enables a large range of positions for whatever you’re trying to mount.
