I use V-flats in my work all the time. I use them to bounce light as fill, for negative fill and more dramatic shadows, and also to block light. I’ve been working to create new content on YouTube for all of you, and my latest video is 3 beauty images using v-flats : https://youtu.be/l0U3bIzPjVk. All there images were shot with simple gear and subtle changes, but with drastically different results. People always (literally always) as me where to buy/find v-flats. I use a single modifier (Large Umbrella + diffusion), 1 or 2 strobes, and V-flats. By purposefully varying the placement/use of each element I am able to create several different beauty looks in a matter of minutes. - said Lindsay on YouTube -
